A prototype of Pitfall 3D: Beyond the Jungle for the PlayStation.
Notes
- After the Playstation logo, the screen transitions from white to black, to a simple loading screen.
- The Activision logo follows
- No legal disclaimer
- A simple title logo is shown, followed by an early version of the intro sequence, in comic book animation
- In fact, all cut scenes are in this style
- Bruce Campbell voiced the lines used in this prototype
- The plot is slightly different
- The title screen/main menu, which is different, shows the level select cheat.
- There is no music and sound on the main menu, and no Vigilante 8 demo
- Placeholder level title cards for the loading screen, although the controller layout is also shown
- Quite a lot of differences in the levels. For example, in the first one, the roller hazard is a crude, polygonal model.
